Batzloff, Cronk, Kyes, Liljengren, Riemenschneider, Vannest and other Families
Hello and welcome to my website. I've been researching lately on the Cronk family since they migrated from Ontario, Canada. Mainly from Lennox & Addington County, Frontenac County -- town(s) Mountain Grove, Parham, Long Lakes are some of the places my grandmother's family came from.
Working currently on the KYES ancestors of Gananoque, Ontario
So if you have any connections to Gladwin County, Michigan
Please visit our website on the Yahoo group site at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gladwinco/ or http://groups.yahoo.com/group/2ndGladwinco/.
BATZLOFF Family I have been able to research back to my gg-grandfather's family. Frederic Batzlaff was born in Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1870. I looked on an old Germany map and there is a place or town called Batzlaff. I hit a brick wall on researching Frederic's parents.
KYES Family My research of the the Kyes family took me back to Asahel Kyes of Lansdowne, Leeds County, Ontario, Canada. Asahel was a soldier in the British army in the War of 1812. Lots of research been done by numerous cousins. Over the years I have written and shared information in the hope of finding more descendants.
LILENGREN Family The Liljengren family came from Sweden. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet my cousin, Gloria who had a wealth of information on the Liljengren family history, visited their homeland and met several of our Swedish cousins. Found as of late, in Washington and western Canada.
VANNEST Family The Vannest family married some of my Cronk ancestors and came to Michigan. I written to cousin, Maurice Vannest and gotten lots of the Vannest family history from him and other cousins. My Research of the Vannest family found cousins in Watertown, NY; Mountain Grove, Ontario; Enterprise, Ontario.
