    • Wagar, Donald (1942)
      Parham Jan. 30 Donald Wagar, aged 69, suffered a heart attack on Monday morning at his home and passed away in a short time. Deceased had been ailing for a few days, but was able to attend his duties as caretaker of Parham School early on Monday morning. Mr. Wagar was born at Wagarville but had spent the most of his life at Parham. He was twice married.
      The funeral was held on Wednesday at the United Church when Rev. W. J. Rogers officiated. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Amy and Hazel, three sons, Hiram, Eugene, Vern; three brothers, William of Dymet, Cartwright of Flint, MI; Bismark of Long Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Smith, Verona and Mrs. J. N. Smith of Parham. The remains were buried at Parham Cemetery. Those attending the funeral from a distance were Mrs. E. A. Barr and Mrs. Clealand Allison of Belleville; T. A. Wagar and daughter, Joyce, and Mrs. Ralph Smith, Kingston; Mr. and Mrs. Thompson and family, Burridge, and Mrs. and Mrs. George Smith, Verona.
