    Notes
    • Thanks so very much for thinking of me. My uncle (Khlon Laidlaw) used to speak of Carl. He said he was a very good wrestler. Khlon died 2 years ago at 96yrs and was still working in his flower shop.

Did find something interesting. You had sent a picture named "The Carmen House" on the CD of old pics. The house was actually called the Cameron House. The Cameron's were related some way. My grandmother named one of her sons Cameron. GG Grandmother Raymond worked in the Cameron house. The Cameron house is now a B&B in I believe Lake Michigan. So funny, because I was looking for B&B's and recognized the house from your picture!

The Raymonds have been eluding me. Did find an Alexander Raymond in Ontario, living very close to the Emery's. Still chipping away at it. Am involved with an Emery internet group. Fun, and they have been very helpful on the Emery line.

I'm still in Sebastopol, CA. Summer is finally here. We didn't think it was ever going to stop raining, but just georgous now.

      Take care
      Sandra Robbe

Also: I believe there is a Raymond/Cameron connection. Our gggrandmother worked in the Cameron house. (You sent me a picture of it, only I thought the title said Carmon house, it was actually the Cameron House, which is now a B&B.) The Vansickle Cemetery in Ancaster Twp, Wentworth Co, Ontario has Cameron's, Emery's and VanSickle's.

Good morning Julie, Eleanor married Joseph Henry Griffin and he is the one I am related to. My great grandmother Harriet Eliza Griffin Culver was Joseph's sister. I have tracked down all the siblings through the time of their death but Joseph disappears in Detroit I think and I saw that Eleanor remarried. Do you know where he died? I have a lot of Griffin data, are you related to them as well? S Sandra
